Senior Manager, Event Marketing

Events and experiences shape the hospitality industry. A passion for bringing those experiences to life, whether hybrid, virtual, or in person, is the ideal for the position of Senior Manager, Events Marketing. As the leader of a team focused on community and regional events, you’ll be in charge of scaling  the program to build local brand awareness, drive new business acquisition, and create experiences to delight our customers to increase their lifetime value. 

The right person for this role will be a self-starter and has a passion for leading and developing teams. You should have a proven track record of leading an events program with a community-first mindset to increase product adoption, drive thought leadership,  and delight customers. About this role (Responsibilities)

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-3 event marketers
• Develop community & regional event plans in support of marketing business goals and priorities
• Work collaboratively across marketing  and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional event experiences that align to local sales goals,  brings product innovation to life, and delights customers
• Partner with with field marketing to build a cohesive regional event strategy that supports the field sales teams, including both Toast-hosted events and tradeshows
• Own event reporting & analysis, including ROI and tracking against event goals.
• Responsible for creating & sharing event readouts to leadership
• Build a partner sponsorship program that can be implemented across all event types to increase partner participation & referrals
• Responsible for full cycle event management and strategy; including tools & technology, vendor selection, attendee experience & engagement and budget management etc.

 

Do you have the right ingredients? (Requirements)

• Experience with first and third party events 
• Strong attention to detail and exemplary project management skills
• Enjoys planning high touch, highly visible events for external audiences
• Excellent interpersonal communication & collaboration skills with a customer service focus and networking ability
• Familiarity with working in cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
• Prior experience managing and leading a team is required
• Solution-oriented

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.Pay Range$120,000—$192,000 USD
