Position Description
An Architectural Project Manager leads building projects from early concept through final construction while championing Cushing Terrell’s philosophy of collaboration, innovation, and human-centered design. They coordinate work across multidisciplinary teams—architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients—to ensure that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets both functional and aspirational goals.
Position Salary Range*
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $106,000 annually.
Required Qualifications**
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in Architecture, Construction
Administration, or the equivalent - 10+ years of job-related experience
- Current license/registration or PM certification or equivalent in-house training

Position Responsibilities***
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, Project Management Software, Adobe Suite,
Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Outlook - In-depth knowledge of industry, strong design skills, client relations, problem-solving
skills, ability to learn and adapt - Ability to collaborate and communicate with other team members and clients
- Strong working knowledge of building codes and construction practices
- Prepare fee proposals, develop, and negotiate contracts, and in some instances
identify scope change and prepare add fee services agreements - Collaborate with design leaders and other disciplines to produce project budgets
- Ensure project profitability remains at 20% or higher in some cases
- Review and reassess projects weekly to maintain earned value and ensure
resources are properly utilized - Initiate and maintain projects and opportunities in Deltek Vantagepoint software
- Develop project budget and develop project plan alongside project coordinators
- Coordinate Cushing Terrell’s project billing with client’s accounting procedures,
aligning with client’s needs in timing and format - Manage accounts receivable and collections along with Cushing Terrell’s goal of
being paid within 30 days of deadlines - Provide expert knowledge of project processes and deliver seamless
communications to teams - Identify and bring awareness to the client of possible services Cushing Terrell can
provide - Regularly assess the client’s goals and ensure the team executes the project to
match that vision - Achieve unison by strategically allocating team effort, utilizing resources, and
reorganizing resources when necessary - Plan, communicate, and execute project deliverables and milestones with the
team
