MES Data Lead

Job Description

Manage accurate data in Hydra at PTNA which includes analysis of input and output to/from Hydra integration with SAP by navigating between Hydra and SAP with a focus on Hydra.  Advise End Users of the plant to correct the master data in SAP.

Essential Functions

• Support the plants in proper data collection as it pertains to material movements. Material movements include but are not limited to inputs, yield outputs, process scrap, and non-process scrap outputs.
• Advise on proper ways to correct master data in SAP to ensure correct data is captured as needed.
• To be engaged after plant Key Users have performed their review and questions remain. SAP Bill of Material and user fields understanding is a must for this role, the dependence of Hydra MES on this data is critical to understanding the impact of material movements and data collection. This role will need to be able to navigate both Hydra and SAP, however, the focus is on Hydra.
• Understand the production process and how it flows inside the MES application with dialogue particularities and the material type included in each process. A high-level understanding of the quality of data transfers is required which are inspection plans from SAP, data transfer to SAP, and QTS messages to support investigations as needed.
• Responsible for the delivery of best practices across PTNA sites to ensure standard ways of working to ensure proper data collection.

As part of the IT Application and System Use Improvement Team will be the primary contact person for PTNA supervisors/key users for incidents as well as the primary contact for the Business As Usual (BAU) team for incidents and solution management. The role is responsible for all initial testing for incident closure and any improvements.

• Good understanding of data flow, initial testing

Experience and Knowledge Requirements

• Degree Engineering and or Information Technology
• 5+ years of Hydra / ERP Experience at least as an Key User
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to think critically and theoretically

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Background & Experience in ERP Implementation
• Computer, ERP and Production process software hands-on experience
