Java Full Stack Engineer - Associate

 

Job Description: 

We are seekingskilled and experienced Developers with expertise in core Javadevelopment andAPI integration through Javato join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications using alow-code platform, with a focus on integrating Java components and services. As a key member of our software development team, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, UI/UX designers, and other IT professionals to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable enterprise applications using the low-code platform, with a focus on integrating Java components and services. 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop robust solutions that align with business objectives. 

• Integrate external Java components, libraries, and services into Appian applications using Appian Integration SDK, Java web services, REST APIs, and other integration techniques. 

• Configure and customize low-code components, including process models, business rules, forms, reports, and integrations, to meet functional and non-functional requirements. 

• Design and implement data models and relational databases to support application functionality, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. 

• Develop and maintain documentation for application design, configuration, integration, and deployment, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and release notes. 

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of applications to ensure quality and reliability, and troubleshoot issues as needed. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, QA testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. 

• Stay current with low-code / no-code coding best practices, updates, and new features, and leverage them to optimize application development and integration processes. 

• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices, continuous learning, and innovation within the development team. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 

• Willingness to learn and develop skills on a low-code / no-code platform. 

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience developing applications using Java or a Java / low-code platform. 

• Proficiency in Java programming language and experience developing Java-based web applications, services, and APIs. 

• Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices for application architecture and design. 

• Experience with Java integration frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and RESTful web services. 

• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL, and proficiency in SQL query optimization and database design. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
