Senior Financial Analyst @ OMG

Join OrderMyGear’s Finance Team and help shape the future of how groups and teams purchase their gear. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Strategy leadership to support revenue forecasting, analysis and reporting. This includes complex Excel modeling and the creation of presentations to enable data-driven decisions. You will also play a key role in strategic planning for OMG and will need to be comfortable doing research and explaining complex concepts to all levels of the company. This person should be able to take questions/ideas and bring back answers/results, love details and want to get into the weeds to find creative solutions to problems.

Day in the Life

• Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Strategy, and Finance to own revenue forecasting and analysis
• Perform variance analysis on Revenue KPI/Financial results, utilize findings to recommend business processes and monitor results
• Comfortably complete market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the market
• Partner with leadership across OMG to assist in the development of business cases and broader strategy requests
• Perform complex modeling and analysis using Excel
• Manipulate large data sets from Looker (BI Tool) and Salesforce.com
• Create PowerPoint presentations for Operational and Executive review

Requirements

Must Haves

• 4+ years of FP&A, Revenue Operations, Private Equity, Investment Banking or similar experience (prior SaaS experience preferred)
• Excel Rockstar (pivot tables, vlookup, match, index, sumifs, etc.)
• Driven by finding efficiency (i.e. better or faster way to do things) 
• Great communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Ability to take questions/ideas and bring back answers/results

Nice to Haves

• Basic Finance and Accounting knowledge (understand P&L, basic cash flow analysis, etc.)
• Previous experience with Salesforce.com, Looker, and SQL 
• Prior experience with transaction-based or subscription-based revenue models
• Experience working cross-functionally and supporting non-Finance business units
