In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

As a Systems Engineer you will develop and apply technical expertise in the planning, integration, test, and activation of complex military systems.  This position will require up to 25% travel and participation in programmatic and technical reviews.

This is an ONSITE position in based in Marlborough, MA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Develop and exercise good engineering judgement and technical decision making inside the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities organization
  • Be able to develop requirements, generate test procedures, integrate new systems, perform system testing, and support lifecycle requirements for assigned program systems
  • To perform work in the field, in an industrial environment, onboard a US Naval vessel, or at a foreign site may append additional requirements, such as climbing, lifting/carrying, and similar physical activity.

Qualification You Must Have:

  • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Successfully completed prior RTX internship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Specific majors: Aerospace Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM discipline
  • Knowledge of data analysis, modeling and simulation, statistics, and various computational techniques for complex multi-variable problems.
  • Knowledge of STK, MATLAB, or Python
  • Quick learner and motivated
