About the role

As the Specialist/Sr. Specialist of Hagerty Drivers Club Partnerships, you will manage and grow a portfolio of key partners in USA and Canada to unlock relationship depth and breadth. Your work will include the development and implementation of strategic partnerships, maintaining relationships that support our strategy and being responsible for the day-to-day workflow. Partnerships ecosystem for HDC comprises of member-benefit, commercial, media, marketing, and insurance partnerships.

What you’ll do

  • Build and execute partnership plans and initiatives to achieve goals for retention, engagement and growth with a key focus on value proposition for our members.
  • Identify gaps in current partnerships structure and onboard new partners.
  • Evaluate performance of current partners and propose changes necessary to the partnership structure.
  • Negotiate and execute annual contract renewals with a deep understanding of partner contract obligations.
  • Have a detailed understanding of different distribution channels and opportunities within the partnerships and provide meaningful insights on how to maximize the value proposition for HDC members.
  • Support Regional Programs with identifying and onboarding local/regional partnerships.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to communicate partner opportunities, keep them updated on partnership activities and ensure execution aligns with business priorities.
  • Establish and manage a partnership request intake process for the enterprise.
  • Network externally to build and maintain relationships with key partners.
  • Excel at developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership and partners, relaying Hagerty’s purpose of saving driving and fueling car culture to future generations.
  • Deliver reports and insights regularly on partnership Key Performance Indicators.
  • Support HDC events in-person as needed.
  • Support the Ask Hagerty team as needed.

This might describe you

  • 4+ years of relationship, sales or partnership management experience in a large / complex business or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Automotive experience within classic and enthusiast’s vehicles is a plus.
  • Membership and/or subscription experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools.
  • Task and project management skills.
  • Agile learner who can quickly absorb information and apply it to current business situations.
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Other things to note

This position can be worked as remote position within the United States.

Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
