Summary of Job Duties:

The College of Health Professions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) invites applications for a full–time, 12-month faculty position in the Department of Respiratory Care. This is an ideal opportunity for a creative, resourceful individual to contribute to established, high-quality bachelor’s, master’s, and online degree programs. Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in respiratory care, health science, education, leadership, science, or related field or Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care, health science, education, leadership, science, or related field – with an agreement to complete a suitable master’s degree within 3 years.  

• Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

• Current Arkansas state license as LRCP (or ability to obtain a license).

• Minimum of three years experience as an RRT with experience in critical care or neonatal/pediatrics.
