Holland Hall was established in 1922 and currently serves approximately 1,000 preK through 12th grade students in a coeducational setting. THIS POSITION
The Assistant to the Director of Auxiliary Programs would support the development and expansion of the extended day and summer programs and supervise the staff in the absence of the Director to ensure consistency of performance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises members of the auxiliary program’s instructional and non-instructional staff in the performance of their duties in the absence of the Director.
JOB DUTIES
- Support Director of all auxiliary services: Extended Day Program - Before/Aftercare, After School Enrichment Programs, Summer Programs, Faculty/Staff Child Care.
- Support in overseeing and coordinating daily tasks, schedules, program registrations, and processing of forms.
- Support in organizing programs to ensure age-appropriate activities in a safe and secure environment.
- Work with Holland Hall Administration, community members, faculty and staff when overlapping responsibilities, actions or communication need to take place.

Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- High school graduate or GED
- Preferred to be working towards a college degree in business, elementary education, child development or a related field.
- CPR and First Aid Certified, or ability to become certified
- Valid state issued driver’s license and proficient driving record.
EXPECTATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE
- Proficiency in the use of technology for operational management, analysis and communication including Google, PCR and Microsoft products.
- Cooperative team member and leader
- Experience working with children in a school setting.
- Professional attitude and ability to communicate positively and constructively including tact in dealing with parents, other instructors and children.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and comply with School standards as stated in policies and handbooks.
- Flexibility in work schedule and shift lengths as needed.
- Regular attendance is required for successful completion of job duties.
- Ability to drive a bus or golf cart on campus, or be willing to become a driver.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Regularly required to stand or sit on a small chair for prolonged periods of time and walk short distances
- Be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
