Compensation Range

Hourly: $38.65 - $51.45 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Essential Functions

  • Help the organization make fact-based decisions in the areas of business selection, growth strategies, organizational alignment, and other key elements related to strategy execution

  • Provide insights that inform and challenge strategic decision making

  • Ensure strategic plans are reflected in budget and forecast

  • Monitor strategy execution and progress - periodically perform strategic deep-dives 

  • Communicate impediments on organization’s top priorities, and find ways to remove them

  • Identify and research emerging trends, technology and signals

  • Develop content and oversee logistics for strategic meetings

  • Lead medium to large projects across business units with significant complexity

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Intermediate understanding of strategic planning best practices and innovation tools

  • Intermediate understanding and application of Agile methodologies

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Ability to complete assignments with limited direction

  • Strong change management, executive presence, situational adaptability, decision making, analytical thinking, and presentation skills

  • Ability to build trust with executive and senior leaders

  • Ability and confidence to ask questions, offer solutions, retain information and apply details to future situations

  • Ability to develop and facilitate trainings and workshops

  • Ability to travel as needed

  • Strong accuracy, prioritization, and customer service skills

  • Ability and confidence to ask questions and retain information

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

  • Ability to identify and drive process improvements

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  Master’s degree preferred.

  • 3+ years banking and or strategy experience required

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $38.65 to $51.45 per hour.
