The Sonepar USA Workforce Analytics Intern will be part of our Workforce Analytics team. This team provides a wide audience of Sonepar leaders with strategic, evidence-based insights for human capital management. The team does this by creating, delivering and maintaining the Workforce Analytics Dashboards in Power BI, Sonepar USA’s one-stop-shop for HR Analytics. The Workforce Analytics Intern will work with the Workforce Analytics Manager to collaboratively advance the Workforce Analytics function, through rigorous data management and a dedication to continuous improvement. They will help maintain the Power BI Workforce Analytics Dashboards, executing a weekly update and finding ways to optimize the process. They will have an eye for aesthetics, creatively enhancing the visualizations to drive a more effective user interface. They will also help to develop new dashboards looking into predictive analytics around turnover “flight risk” and career pathing.

 

What you will bring to this opportunity:

• Familiar with: Power BI and/or Tableau

• Experience with Data Analytics and Data Visualization

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with data management

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently

• Dedicated to continuous improvement of the dashboards

• Willingness to adapt and learn

• Minimum Education: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree – current Sophomore or Junior (Must be a rising Junior or Senior at time of internship program); GPA: 3.0 or higher
