Job Description

Overview: The Houston office is looking for a Project Designer to join the team.  As a project designer you will play a key role assisting our project teams with specific production and design needs.

Most Of The Things You’ll Work On:

• Working with Project Manager in design, consultant, and project coordination.
• Working with BIM Manager to participate in clash detection sessions.
• Provide design and CD production support to Project Architects and Interior Designers.
• Produce BIM models and drawings based on office standards and procedures.
• Prepare construction documentation, to include plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.
• Work with project team to execute projects on time and on budget.
• Review design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts
• Compile drawings into a plan set, organize and manage the sheet index throughout all phases of the project
• Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make corrections to drawings as requested by Project Managers.

Qualifications

You'll Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Detailed and task-oriented self-starter who can follow through on initiatives
• In-depth knowledge of Autodesk Revit, with a minimum of 2 to 6 years’ experience using Revit on design/construction projects
• General knowledge of BIM 360
• Experience working in an architectural production environment
• Good Communication Skills
• Works well in a Team Environment
• Thorough attention to detail
