Position Summary:

Care Alliance Health Center provides high-quality, comprehensive medical and dental care, patient advocacy, and related services to people who need them most, regardless of the ability to pay. We are currently hiring Certified Dental Assistants.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Must have the knowledge of dentistry related subjects, such as, dental health safety, dental terminology, dental and general anatomy, and transcription techniques.

Well-developed communication interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a range of patients is required

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment;
• Assist with dental care during all dental clinics including chair side assisting the dentist;
• Assist with inventory management and dental lab management and dental reception;
• Effectively interview the patient, evaluate medical/dental history, chief complaint, and record dental findings and treatment;
• Provide oral hygiene instructions and/or explanations of prescribed treatment to patients;
• General clinic maintenance, including cleaning restocking;
• Assure that clinic is presentable at all times;

Requirements

 Minimum RequirementsMinimum of a HS diplomaMust be a Certified Dental AssistantA minimum of 1 year experience working as a Dental AssistantFlexibility and skill to assist a variety of dentistsFamiliarity with computer systems for dental records and digital x-ray; Excellent verbal skillsCommitment to the mission of Care AllianceWe require all applicants to complete the Culture Index(TM) Survey so we can see how it may apply to your work related needs as well as our company requirements.
