SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

We’re looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to champion our customers’ success stories and strengthen their voice in the market. You’ll identify and nurture strategic advocates, leveraging their experiences to create impactful customer evidence that inspires and empowers others. As a key driver of Pure’s customer advocacy programs, you’ll collaborate across teams to deliver compelling, customer-centric content and initiatives that fuel growth and innovation.

• Advocate Recruitment & Engagement: Identify and onboard strategic customers to participate in advocacy initiatives, including reference calls, peer reviews, case studies, testimonials, events, blogs and webinars. Build strong relationships with customers to ensure mutually rewarding advocacy experiences.
• Customer Evidence Creation: Capture and craft compelling customer stories in various formats, including written case studies, video testimonials, blogs, and other assets that highlight customer success with Pure Storage solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to align advocacy efforts with business priorities and strategic goals. Provide teams with the resources they need to effectively showcase customer evidence.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• 15+ years of experience in customer marketing, advocacy, or a similar role, ideally in the technology sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Proven ability to recruit, nurture, and engage customer advocates.
• Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills, with the ability to distill complex customer journeys into compelling narratives.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency with CRM, marketing automation, and advocacy platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SlapFive).
• Experience in the B2B technology or IT industry (preferred).
• Familiarity with content marketing and sales enablement strategies (preferred).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Raleigh, North Carolina office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: $137,000.00 – $206,000.00 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
