Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a team that supports U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM)? Peraton is looking for someone who leads and acts as a full participant as a Cyber Systems Administrator. You will provide IT services for programs designed to protect the most sensitive DoD capabilities, information, and technologies; operational standards are often required by statute. Configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades server applications and hardware. Evaluates, tests, recommends, coordinates, monitors, and maintains information systems (IS) and cyber security policies, procedures, and systems, including access management for hardware, firmware, and software. Identify, develop, and sustain automated workflow processes, to the extent practicable for each system, from identification of the access requirement through briefing and then debriefing. Maintains and executes assessment processes and criteria for tracking personnel given access to each program. 

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI eligible w/polygraph
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience managing the Special Technical Operations (STO), Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM), and Special Access Programs (SAP) systems, among other systems, including the physical network (e.g., LANs/WANs, servers, terminals) as well as server applications and software.
  • Experience identifying, developing, and sustaining automated workflow processes, to the extent practicable for each system, from identification of the access requirement through briefing and then debriefing.
  • Experience identifying security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations, and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security.
  • Experience developing techniques and procedures for conducting IS and cyber security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware, and software for possible impact on system security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents such as intrusion, frauds, attacks, or leaks.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
