HR Generalist

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for working each day to help refine, grow, and execute on our people and culture initiatives. You will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer to ensure that our HR processes and systems are in compliance and support our most important asset–our people. You’ll also play a key role in making sure that while we are scaling our business, we are also having fun.

What You Will Do

• Own the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and promotions.
• Support leadership with performance management including setting OKRs, annual performance reviews, and employee engagement. 
• Maintain accuracy of employee files and data in HRIS and internal cloud. 
• Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts.  
• Manage employee benefits administration including renewals and open enrollment.
• Update and maintain HR documents, reports, claims and files as applicable.
• Partner with managers to create standards and procedures for handling employee questions, HR programs, and new processes. 
• Be a trusted resource for employees and ensure that employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, and investigated.
• Convey employee inquiries/issues to managers and partner with them to create a plan of resolution.
• Ensure policies, practices, processes, and guidelines are ethical and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
• Help to foster a positive work environment through thoughtful group activities, recognition, and events. 
• Provides support to managers for projects as needed.

What You Need to be Successful

• A Bachelor’s degree in in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years experience in Human Resources
• Excellent communication skills 
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to operate under pressure with competing priorities
• PHR/SHRM certification a plus 
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) a plus
