The Inpatient Trauma Nurse Practitioner (NP) works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team. The NP provides healthcare in acute health care settings, including emergent, surgical and medical ICUs. The NP has didactic education, clinical competency and national certification in identified area of clinical practice. The NP demonstrates medical knowledge, clinical judgment, technical competence, professionalism, interpersonal communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and is responsible for professional development and competency validation. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a motivated and adaptable APP who thrives in dynamic environments. Someone with APP experience who can flourish in an autonomous environment (ideally with Trauma Surgery background) and has worked in surgical environments would be an excellent candidate.
