What’s the role?

We’re looking for a Learning Operations, Senior Manager to join our Growth & Development team to support creating seamless and effective learning experiences for all Etsy employees. In short, you’ll listen to the business to prioritize needs, make the most of our existing learning solutions to meet needs, and/or spot when it’s time to re-evaluate what we’re using now and what’s next.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Learning Programs and the base salary range will be 116,000 - 150,000  USD per year. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy. What does the day-to-day look like?

• Trend Reporting. Keep the full team in-the-know of the latest benchmarks and trends in the wider learning space. Identify and help us pilot the latest learning methodologies and tools.
• Maintenance and Cohesiveness. Own the maintenance and improvement of the team’s all-employee resources by incorporating learner feedback, industry best practices, additional resources as they become available across our toolset, etc. 
• Business Partnership. Develop and maintain deep relationships and strong communication channels across Etsy, fostering collaboration and alignment of learner operations with company goals.
• Process Optimization. Continuously assess and improve learner operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This includes our vendor relationships, contract cycles, measurement practices, etc. 
• Data Analysis. Utilize data-driven insights to monitor learner satisfaction, demonstrate impact, identify areas for improvement, and surface solutions.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience  end to end designing and deploying  learning and development programming in mid-level organizations.
• Strong project management capability. Demonstrated ability to manage resources, timelines, dependencies, and budgets while maintaining excellent stakeholder expectations.
• Strong understanding of industry concepts commonly found in tech organizations (Agile methodologies, design-thinking, etc) as well as the unique challenges of learner operations for a marketplace organization like Etsy.
• Instructional design experience, not only designing and developing content but also experience consulting to decentralized learning resources or SMEs. 
• Familiarity with tools within our stack, such as Adobe, Articulate, Camtasia, Canva, Coupa, Monday.com, GSuite, Slack, and ZenDesk.
