The HR Technology team works with partners inside the People Team, as well as cross-functional teams (such as IT, Finance, Legal, Privacy, etc.) Our mission is to develop and improve end-to-end processes and deploy customer-friendly, mobile-enabled systems and solutions.
The role of the HR Business Systems Manager will be to provide end-to-end business process analysis and technology solutions to meet our Talent Management, Recruiting and HCM business objectives, including providing operational support for key HR systems. Reporting to the Sr Manager of HR Technology, the ideal candidate will be a forward thinker with a passion for process improvement, excellent attention to detail, demonstrated problem solving capabilities, and direct hands-on experience with Workday, who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the configuration, testing, change management, adoption, maintenance, and improvement of People Team systems (primarily Workday)
Work with the business process owners, related stakeholders, and end users to gather, validate requirements, including planning and conducting UX sessions where needed
Prepare visual wireframes / mockups and demo videos to promote and improve user experience (UX)
Act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide Tier 2 operational support to users of HR processes
Work with stakeholders to evaluate and prioritize issues and enhancement requests to influence HR tools, technology strategy and roadmap
Collaborate with HR Analytics team to modify or create new reports as requested
Collaborate with IT team to ensure that integrations are built to address business requirements as requested
Other duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications:
4+ years of progressive hands-on HRIS experience, including experience with HR SaaS based systems
3+ years of Workday configuration experience, including 2 years of Workday Talent Management, HCM and Recruiting configuration experience
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Workday Talent Management and Recruiting globally
Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies (including Agile)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues to completion
Ability to prioritize and manage work against critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and independent with ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and demand
Ability to work with teams across multiple time zones and geographic locations
Able to absorb new technologies and features quickly
Strong verbal and written communication and follow up skills, including ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
Problem and conflict solving abilities, influencing people across organization and levels
Passion for effective processes and methodologies that will improve the productivity of the organization and provide consumer-grade user experiences.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday Talent Management functionality
Experience with Workday HCM functionality
Experience with Workday Recruiting functionality
Experience working in a service delivery model which includes a shared services organization
Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company or previous experience with a medium to large multinational company
Working knowledge of GDPR impacts for HR
