Production Department INTERN (START ASAP)

Our Company:  BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker.

Reports to:  Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day operations of production team
• Open packages, log samples into system, distribute to team members
• Exposure to creating garment BOMs, Cost sheets & Production orders, factory req
• Maintaining & organizing incoming stock samples
• Assisting with preparing & sending out packages to vendors
• Creating spreadsheets for costing, tech pack request
• Assist in overall office organization

Requirements

• Knowledge of design concept/ garment construction

• Must be able to commit to 5 days a week, but if you happen to be in school and cannot provide 5 days a week, we are open to accommodate to 3-4 days
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

The hourly rate for this non-exempt internship position is: $16/hour.
