Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Financial Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join the team in Everett, WA supporting 767 Engineering.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs
  • Develops performance reports
  • Initiates assignments and leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of engineering and financial performance to senior management
  • Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends
  • Leads development of business cases using appropriate indices
  • Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
  • 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience performing financial reporting accounting (ex: account variance analysis, reconciliation, and journal entries, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
  • 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
  • 3+ years of experience creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • 3+ years of experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, time management, and organization skills

Typical Education/Experience: 
Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
