Summer Interns will have access to experienced Finance, Global Banking and Markets, and support team executives, as they network and interact with various business partners that support a full-service brokerage and banking organization. The program involves frequent interactive learning sessions led by our experienced professionals. Interns will also have access to our Mentoring program where students will be teamed-up with a mentor who will serve as a guide for professional and personal development. What will my responsibilities look like?

  • Work with [HD] U.S. Global Capital Markets trading desks on strategic initiatives
  • Creating presentations and data analysis for client relationship managers and reporting purposes
  • Prepares presentation materials, and progress for various initiatives to stakeholders, including senior management
  • Keeping track of KPIs for Global Capital Markets business lines
  • Develop data automation tasks on MS Excel and PowerBi
  • Attends program meetings, and serves as program secretary, where required
  • Organizing development of new products with Risk, Front Office, and Internal Controls teams
  • Leads research, analysis and ad-hoc projects as requested

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if:

  • You are pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or equivalent and expect to graduate between December 2026 and August 2027
  • You have advanced MS Office skills especially within MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • You have a displayed interest within banking, or the finance industry, as a whole
  • You can build deep relationships with various internal stakeholders including senior management, business partners, and support & control functions
  • You have strong organizational skills, are highly motivated, and possess intellectual curiosity
  • You have strong communication skills in written and verbal forms while engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • You are a self-starter while having the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage various initiatives simultaneously
