The Energy Representative role is an entry-level position leading to a career in Residential Energy Auditing. You’ll provide services that make homes safer, more comfortable, and energy-efficient—at no cost to clients. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact on customers' lives and the environment.

You're a great fit if you can…

  • Conduct home energy assessments using diagnostic tools (training provided).

  • Work independently and collaboratively to ensure quality service and installations.

  • Record and report data to meet program requirements.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues during energy efficiency installations.

  • Learn and follow technical guidelines for energy efficiency programs.

  • Represent the program and company to customers, promoting participation and energy savings.

  • Travel daily within the service territory (company vehicle provided).

Exciting candidates have…

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team and client interaction.

  • Knowledge of construction, home renovation, or trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) preferred; willingness to learn required.

  • Ability to obtain BPI, OSHA, and EPA Lead certifications within 6-9 months (training/certification costs covered).

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to pass background and drug tests.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
