About the Role

As a Full Stack AI/ML Principal Data Scientist, you will develop AI solutions that span all verticals in the insurance business. You will meet with business stakeholders to define problems and success criteria and scope the projects. You will lead cross functional teams in building AI solutions spanning from technical feasibility studies to completely new customer-facing product lines. You will be hands-on in technical implementation while teaching project teammates how to build AI solutions during execution of your projects. You will track the evolution of AI technologies, identifying emerging technologies and evaluating them for business relevance. Your assessments will inform and influence strategic investment decisions.

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in AI, Data Science, or related discipline
• 10+ years of professional experience in AI and data science including 3+ years of consulting experience
• Communications skills effective with technical employees through executive level
• Experience building customer-facing data products inclusive of infrastructure through UI
• Experience fine-tuning and training neural networks from scratch
• Built solutions using Generative AI software frameworks
• Proficiency with
  • AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Docker
  • Python
  • Javascript
  • SQL
  • API integrations
  • API development
  • Hosted version control systems such as Github
  • Code quality automation such as linting, type checking, and testing

Responsibilities

• Define projects and their execution.
• Lead small teams of indirect reports, lead through influence while applying the ability to focus on mentoring teams to develop and execute on best practices.
• Provide the ability to lead thru a methodological expertise and are expected to raise the data-driven decision-making bar of the entire organization.​​​​​​​
• Ability to provide a strategic expertise to accelerate the AI solution development for Insurance vertical.
• This position will lead AI projects and provide on-the-project AI training to other Analytics professionals on the team.
