The Role

As a Banking Business Architect, You will be a trusted advisor for C-suite clients looking to solve critical business problems, including the ability to create business cases for transformation.

You will Develop strategy, design, transformation roadmap and plan for Core Banking Platform modernization and Maintenance for Kyndryl’s banking clients.

Lead Conceptual Architecture for next-gen solutions on Banking and Payments leveraging Cloud and AI/ML

You will perform vendor assessment and due diligence of packaged Core Banking platforms, e.g. FIS, Fiserv, Jack Henry, Finastra, Thought Machine, Mambu etc

Lead pre-sales activities from client buy-in to planning, budgeting, deliverables, and risk assessment and manage banking implementation engagements (requirements, design, test, deployment, etc.)

You will source and coordinate work from other internal workforces and partners.

and develop our next-generation Financial Services offerings.

You will build a reputation as an industry thought leader with representation in Industry Conferences, Network groups and Marketing events. and support Account Teams with business development to originate new client opportunities.

As a Banking Business Architect, you will work closely with architects, developers and IT teams to ensure the effective implementation and testing of core banking system solutions.

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $154,710 to $371,300 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Expertise:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science or Information Technology.

• 15+ years of experience in business architecture, business analyst or a related role, preferably in the banking industry or with a leading Systems Integrator/Technology Consulting organization

• Possess deep functional knowledge related to leading FIS Core Banking Platforms such as Systematics, Profile, MBP or Hogan

• Strong understanding of banking and payments concepts, processes, and systems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and also lead a team.

• Ability to travel within US, upto 40% of the time.

Preferred Skills and Expertise:

• Proficient in Business Process Modeling and Banking Business Architecture leveraging frameworks such as BIAN and/or IFX

• Masters degree in any business, finance or technology related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience with Cloud, Analytics, AI/ML

• PMP certification.
