Job Description:
Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating agency management decisions and operations across marketing teams. Formulates practices, processes, policies and manages daily operations. Identifies ways to improve the way we work, drives incremental value, introduces efficiencies, and plans the use of agency capabilities and resources to critical business areas. Looking for a self-starter, problem solver, someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to drive work across cross-functional teams and influence leadership. Passionate about building high performing teams and focused on implementing creative solutions that drive value for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an agency evaluation strategy to ensure partners are efficiently and effectively providing services within plan, scope, budgetary limits and meet KPIs.
- Ensures best in class agency operations and establishes a consistent, disciplined approach for managing agency relationships, ensuring we play to win, we get better every day, and we succeed together.
- Supports creative agency roster strategy and facilitates agency selection process
- Reviews financial statements, reports, and performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement. Identifies areas for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Directs administrative activities and vendor related to providing agency management services.
- Builds strong professional connections across business lines and value streams (key marketing stakeholders, marketing leadership teams, cross functional leaders, and colleagues) and with external (marketing agencies, potential vendors, market influencers, etc.)
- Builds relationships with other support functions such as Sourcing, Legal, Finance, Risk, Supplier Management and HR to ensure complete integration to strategies, priorities and full compliance.
- Develops tools and resources to strengthen best practices within our model to leverage across the company.
- Drives innovation with our agency partners by continually testing new ways of driving agency performance.
- Monitors, tracks, and manages agency partner continuous performance in collaboration with all relevant marketing stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications:
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management, Marketing, or related field
- 6+ years experience in Operations Manager, Advertising or Marketing

- Strong agency experience, ability to interact directly and manage creative agencies
- Possess a versed knowledge of top Creative talent and great work across the industry
- Experience influencing senior management and/or decisions made by senior leadership
- Experience identifying operational issues and opportunities, recommending, and implementing strategies to resolve problems and/or drive improvement
- Proven robust project management skills and thrive working with key cross-functional leadership stakeholders
- Ability to navigate confrontational conversations, decisions and align varying viewpoints to a strategy and vision
- Ability to navigate competing priorities, allocate resources appropriately and mitigate associated challenge
- Disciplined approach to managing projects, while maintaining the flexibility to adapt when adjustments are required
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with Marketing, Production, Creative, Sourcing, and/or Analytics and data-driven marketing is a plus
- Experience working with automated workflow systems (Workfront or similar).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
