Sr. Analyst, Emerging Business Development

POSITION SUMMARY:  As a Senior Analyst, Emerging Business Development, you will partner with our Sustainability Innovation team to craft high-quality financial models, business cases, and presentations, helping to guide key projects and influence decision-making. Your work will showcase the economic, technical, and operational viability of sustainability innovation growth initiatives, contributing to both the success of our organization and our sustainability initiatives. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Create and maintain financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities, including financial projections, cash flow analysis, and sensitivity assessments

• Draft presentations and business cases for a wider audience within the organization including senior Leadership and the Board of Directors

• Present financial findings and recommendations to management

• Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape related to decarbonization and circularity projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for business decisions

• Contribute to a variety of ongoing tasks and special projects as needs evolve

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• You have at least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance – public accounting (Big 4 or Tier II National), investment banking, private equity, business development, transaction diligence, or management consulting

• You're highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and have the ability to create detailed financial models and impactful presentations

• You’re a curious, strategic thinker who thrives in cross-functional environments and enjoys working with teams to solve complex problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in business or financial analysis or accounting.
