We're looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineering Manager to lead our ML Dev Experience team! Snap leverages AI/ML to grow communities, and present personalized and engaging experiences. You will be in the forefront of AI/ML at Snap to make this happen.

What you’ll do:

• Manage and mentor a team of full-stack developers, in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment to build tooling and services to maximize ML engineering velocity at Snap.

• Set the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver

• Collaborate with Product, Software and Machine Learning Engineering teams, and executive stakeholders

• Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of major decisions and be a strong technical mentor

• Hire, grow and retain high-performing team members

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Background with building high availability and mission critical systems

• Experience with leading an engineering team

• Ability leading and executing large, complex technical initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 8+ years of experience working in software engineering

• 2+ years of experience managing a team

• Experience with distributed systems and web development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments

• Experience with building and maintaining mission-critical and highly-available global systems

• Familiarity with processes and systems in ML Ops and ML Infra domains

• Experience in building user-facing LLM/AI applications
