Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities lie in three main areas; building supervision, intramurals/club sports, and fitness center operations.
The Regan Center is open daily and our graduate staff members have scheduled shifts serving as the building manager on duty. This includes oversight of the field house, fitness center and pool; incident and injury protocol; student staff supervision; and general maintenance tasks.
Intramural & club responsibilities include the supervision of intramural activities; recruiting, hiring, and training of student officials; develop and implement promotional efforts; home club contest oversight; as well as daily office operations.
Fitness Center responsibilities include the supervision/management of the venue and its student staff as well as maintenance and overview of equipment to ensure a safe and rewarding atmosphere for our members.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and an educational background that will satisfy the graduate academic entrance requirement of Seton Hall University.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in intramural officiating is essential as well as knowledge of fitness center operations. CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as NIRSA membership are preferred.
