About the role

Job Description

Work Arrangement:

This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

The Role:

The Global Talent Project Coordinator will act as a strategic planner and launch captain for new learning programs across all functions at General Motors.

Reporting to the Global Talent Program Manager, this role will craft and oversee the roll out plan and communications for new and existing learning offerings to the company. You will also own and maintain the Global Talent information sites and supporting materials available to employees 

The ideal candidate has experience in talent management strategy and/or communicationsExperience in a technical talent management function is ideal but not required. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Design and implement communications strategies for launching new learning programs to the company 
  • Create and oversee cross-functional project plans for new learning launches 
  • Maintain internal websites for sharing information about all Global Talent team learning offerings and performance management processes 
  • Collaborate closely with Talent leadership and teams to stay connected on upcoming and existing programming
  • Develop creative and innovative ways to drive learning engagement  

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of communications, strategy, project management or other relevant experience 
  • Ability to organize and plan effectively, in an ambiguous and continually changing environment 
  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills, with attention to detail
  •  Demonstrated ability to work in an action oriented, decision-making environment and be decisive 
  • Organized with strong ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously  
  • Strong consulting and relationship building skills 
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-centric culture and influence others without authority 
  • Skilled in using MS office to manage the various activities efficiently 

 

Compensation:

  • The expected base compensation for this role is $80,100 - $122,800 USD Annually.
  • Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
