Pre-School/Pre-Kindergarten Teacher 

St.Pius X school is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and creative Pre-School/Pre-Kindergarten teacher to join our team.  We are expanding our Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten offerings and need an innovative and dynamic teacher committed to growing our new program!  Applicant needs to have experience in early childhood education. Experience in planning hands-on lessons in an integrated thematic fashion is necessary.  Applicants need to be highly organized and have a solid grasp of early learning curriculum components, as well as be a confident communicator with potential families. Knowledge of and compliance with WA State Early Learning codes is important.

Major Reponsibilities:

• Create a safe learning environment for 3 - 5 year olds.
• Work with a team to plan, deveolop and implement appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate effectively and partner with parents in their children's education, including regular communication and conferencing.
• Participate in the faith life of the school and parish family.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Maintain STARS training for compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:.

• Practicing Catholic.
• Completed WAC requirements.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. 

The salary range for this full-time, year-round position is $49,925 - $66,560. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
