- Deliver foundational instruction on Registered Fund Accounting processes, including NAV production, cash and position reconciliations, income, expenses, corporate actions, and control expectations.
- Provide hands-on guidance by demonstrating fund accounting processes, then observing and reviewing new hires as they independently perform fund accounting responsibilities for assigned funds.
- Partner with new Fund Accountants during live fund processing to reinforce accuracy, control awareness, and adherence to standard procedures.
- Serve as a subject matter resource to answer questions, clarify processes, and ensure understanding of downstream impacts and risk considerations.
- Identify recurring onboarding challenges, control gaps, or process inconsistencies and escalate trends to the Project and Risk Team and Fund Accounting leadership.
- Collaborate with Project and Risk initiatives related to control design, process improvements, documentation updates, and readiness for audits or reviews.
