Job title: Director, WW Commercialization milvexian

Position Description

The Director, WW Commercialization milvexian, will play a critical role on the Alliance Brand Working Group (BWG) and BMS Global Program Team (GPT) in ensuring commercial insights are identified, shared, and applied to drive value differentiation for future commercialization success. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who exudes an entrepreneurial mindset and can effectively operate in a complex, a nimble and dynamic landscape. This is a global strategic marketing role that will contribute toward establishing the key strategic pillars and roadmap for commercialization at a market level.  In this role, the individual will be responsible for enhancing the alliance partnership to develop high-impact commercialization strategies to maximize milvexian potential value. The individual will be designated Disease Strategy Lead (DSL) for Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) indication and will be accountable for driving the pre-commercialization plan in tandem with the pan-indication strategies. The individual will also be the point for European Region market assessments, partnering with internal and alliance cross-functional matrix team members, including local market affiliates. The individual will be responsible for developing EU market engagement plan, strategy and evaluation of the ACS opportunity and budget planning. Other core responsibilities include manufacturing/product design and formulation, digital health innovation and advocacy/professional society strategy in coordination with other matrix leaders. In coordination with the asset commercialization team members, the individual will also be responsible for the establishment of key commercial capabilities to enhance alliance effectiveness and future market synergies.  This leader will report to the Vice President, WW Commercialization Lead, and work closely with R&D, medical, HEOR, Access, BI&A, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs, Advocacy, manufacturing, product innovation and alliance cross functional partners to deliver commercialization objectives for milvexian. The candidate will also be responsible for liaising with HEOR/VAP team to develop the ACS data generation plan to support a differentiated value story.

Position Requirements:

The successful candidate needs to have multiple experiences of championing and leading commercialization initiatives across multiple disease areas. This candidate should have demonstrated ability to implement and understand market analysis and assessments to drive strategic decisions. This individual should worldwide experience and or pre-launch/ launch experience either in major markets or a global setting.

This individual will work closely with the broader milvexian integrated leadership team, and others to ensure commercial strategies are rapidly applied and critical market development opportunities are being identified. The ability to identify commercial gaps and engage necessary stakeholders to assess strategic value, will be critical for the successful candidate to demonstrate. 

Candidate should have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships by leading and participating in multi-functional teams and excelling in a matrix environment. Competencies include Global Perspective, Drug Development Process, Positioning, Strategic Business Planning, Influencing and Negotiating Skills, Brand Therapeutic Area Knowledge, Marketing Analytics, Market, Customer & Competitive insights, Brand and Positioning Management, and agency management. Experience with alliances/collaborations is preferred, but not necessary.

  • BA/BS required. MBA, PharmD, or other graduate experience strongly preferred
