About the role

We are looking for a Senior Asset Manager (m/f/d) to join our Asset Management team at the earliest possible date, based in Munich. As Senior Asset Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for leasing,capital expenditures, interacting with partners, the financial and ESG performance of a property portfolio, creating and implementing business plans for existing investments as well as preparing and presenting strategic recommendations for Investment Committees. The individual will holistically look after asset management activities across all asset classes with a clear focus in leasing activities; build constructive relationships with our partners, support the European team with know-how and works closely with the Head of Asset Management.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Full asset responsibility for a dedicated asset portfolio, located in Munich, including financial and ESG performance focused
  • Development, implementation, and execution of asset and leasing strategies
  • Take leading role for leasing activities - acquisition of new tenants as well as professional management and development of existing tenant relationships including contract negotiation
  • Active exchange with all relevant market players and steering such as brokers, consultants, property manager and architects
  • Coordination of the creation and implementation of marketing strategies including leasing materials
  • Conducting market analyses to optimize space utilization and identify competitive advantages
  • Close cross-functional collaboration with Asset Management, Development, Legal, and others
  • Take a leading role in the creation of the annual business planning for the responsible properties
  • As Deal Captain work closely with investment team in order to ensure good practices and latest knowledge are included in a “Buy Manage Sell” process; support preparing hold /sell analysis papers, refinancing and other relevant documents for the relevant stakeholder                                                                                                                
  • Become an expert in internal systems, tools and schedules in order to deliver product on time and as per local or investment requirements                          
  • Take active role in developing of Analysts, Associates and AMs, acting as a role model and mentor       

 

 

Key Requirements

  • University degree with strong academic background, with additional training in real estate management as a plus
  • At least 7 years’ professional experience in a comparable position
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and Inventory-managing systems (Argus, SAP, Filenet)
  • Support innovation, digitalization initiatives & AI
  • Strong spoken and written English skills
  • Very good negotiating at professional level and financial modelling skills
  • Experience in steering of construction projects & technical measurements incl. budget tracking
  • Strong ability to work in a team, entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on mentality
  • Above-average commitment and persistence in carrying out projects and tasks in a highly transformational environment
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant property markets and contacts in the relevant market
