Job Description

Supplier quality engineer responsible for the planning and execution of APQP activities for the release of specific commodities and components, and troubleshooting activities for non-conformances + quality issues before SOP +6months at the supplier.

Planning and execution of APQP and release activities for dedicated projects / commodities / purchased parts worldwide.

APQP Activities

• Assure compliance with Bosch quality requirements at the supplier and their sub-suppliers during the product development and release phases including but not limited to:
  • Technical Supplier Discussions.
  • Measurement review including ICL, control plan, measurement description.
  • Process review and assessments including control plan, PFMEA, VDA Audits.
  • Launch control activities including Early Production Containment (EPC), Process Release, Run@Rate.
• Support change management (ECR, CEC)
• Troubleshooting non-conforming materials before SOP at the supplier and +6 months including claims, escalations and concessions.
• Coordination of Supplier Initiated Change Requests.
• Status reports for ongoing projects
• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

Completion of an Associates or Bachelors degree highly desired 

Intermediate level (3-7 years) required skills and knowledge:

• Experience in Supplier Quality / Project Mgmt / Production
• Problem Solving
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams
• MS Office / SAP
• Position involves frequent need to deal with people from other departments of similar levels, or sometimes superior levels, making coordination agreements, giving and receiving information.
• Position involves external relationships and relationships with suppliers giving and receiving information and carrying out administrative procedures.
