Sentara Home Care Services Williamsburg is looking for a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant.
Overview
Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in developing treatment plans, carrying out routine functions, and documenting treatment progress within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
*30 productive point expectation which is 30 patients a week.
Shift Hours
Monday to Friday from 0800 - 5:00P.M.
Requirements:
- Manage their own schedule which allows flexibility
- Dependable car required driving from home to home.
- Must be able to work independently as they are in home alone.
- Experience and Confidence
Education
- Bachelors in Physical Therapy (Required)
- Masters in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Certification/Licensure
- Physical Therapist License (Required)
Experience
- Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions by accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
- Participates/assists with updates in the formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.
- Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.
- Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and families to improve patient outcomes.
- Productive and efficient in daily operations.
