Productions Audio Visual Technician

Description

The Production Audio Visual Technician is a position that is focused on supporting all aspects at Delmarva Christian Schools in order to highlight its distinctives in audio, video, and live performances. The ideal candidate will be administrative, organized, highly motivated and will have practical experience in pre/during/post production excellence.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Vibrant, growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Ability to show history of excellence in audio/video productions
• Organized and able to maintain schedules
• Strong technical skills in lighting, sound, video editing, graphics, Pro-presenter, Google Suite, Powerpoint
• Collaborative with Praise and Worship Coordinator, campus specific Enrollment/Events Coordinators, Productions Coordinators

Responsibilities:

Chapels

• Manage audio/video productions for the Praise and Worship Team
• Support guest speakers with presentations/recordings
• Assist with set-up/tear-down of equipment
• Develop and supervise a team of students to assist

Banquets

• Provide lighting, audio/video, presentation support
• Implement and oversee slideshows
• Assist with set-up/tear-down of equipment as needed

DCS and DCMC Performing Arts

• Oversee the technical and logistical aspects pre/during/post production
• Assist with set-up/tear-down of equipment as needed

J Term Showcase

• Provide lighting, audio/video, presentation support
• Implement and oversee slideshows
• Assist with set-up/tear-down as needed

Other

•  Work collaboratively to record or live stream eventsic Events (state tournament, championships, etc), Christmas Variety shows, Spiritual Emphasis Day, Easter Chapel, Sports’ Ceremony, Baccalaureate, Graduation, Royal Ball, See you at the Pole, Staff Inservices,
• Work collaboratively to record or live stream events
• Streamline processes to minimize production delays
• Assist Director of Marketing with shoots and filming set up when appropriate
• Assist with or recommend budgeting for A/V Production needs/purchasing
