Operations & Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Operations & Maintenance Engineer to support the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of systems within a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will bring engineering expertise to ensure system performance, safety, and compliance, while also driving process optimization and technical problem-solving. This role combines hands-on technical support with engineering analysis and collaboration across operations and project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering oversight and technical guidance for operations and maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans in alignment with client and facility standards.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, and system specifications to ensure compliance and readiness.
• Support preservation and reliability activities for operating and non-operating equipment.
• Analyze system performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Respond to and troubleshoot equipment shutdowns, alarms, or abnormal operating conditions; coordinate with engineers, technicians, and vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalations and optimize maintenance strategies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives with operations and maintenance staff.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills Required:

• 3–5 years’ experience as an Operations & Maintenance Engineer or in a related engineering role within mission-critical or industrial facilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or process systems.
• Ability to analyze technical data, troubleshoot complex issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Familiarity with reliability engineering principles and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technicians, engineers, vendors, and clients.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), required.
• Professional certifications in operations, maintenance, or reliability engineering preferred but not required.
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
