Reporting to the Stores and Inventory Co-Ordinator, the primary purpose of this role is to work in a team environment providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective stores and warehousing functions.

Collinsville Open Cut is located approximately 160km from Airlie Beach in Queensland, a town known as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. Producing both metallurgical and thermal coal for the export market, the surface mine has a long life and is transitioning from a dragline strip to a truck and shovel terrace operation.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor you will primarily be responsible for assisting in providing a cost effective and efficient procurement, warehousing, and distribution service to ensure material availability in a timely and accurate manner. You will demonstrate extensive experience in all aspects of supply including procurement and warehousing, coupled with a high level of inventory management skills. You’ll know how to operate a computer and maintain accurate stock records. Experience in a procurement database and a forklift ticket is required.

Working within the Commercial department, you’ll bring proven experience of stores or warehouse work in a busy and challenging environment. You’ll have an eye for detail, be highly organised and work well within a team. You’re the person who likes to get out from behind a desk and take an active role in supporting your team. Dedicated towards providing great customer service, you enjoy interacting with a range of people throughout the day and pride yourself on your communication skills and safety focus.

You will have the option to work 7/7 roster, giving you time to explore the beautiful Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef on your days off! The mine site is only a quick 5-minute drive from the camp, where your accommodation and meals will be provided.
