About the role

Form Health is seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead and scale our corporate technology, employee technology services, and workplace systems as we grow. This leader will own the strategy and execution of IT operations, security partnership, and enterprise tooling that enable a distributed, high-performing organization.

This role is hybrid and based in the Boston, MA area. It requires in-office presence 1-2 days per week.

The Head of IT will sit within the Administrative organization reporting directly to our Chief Administrative Officer, and will play a critical role in building operational rigor across onboarding, identity management, device management, and secure collaboration. This role requires a hands-on, strategic, and people-centered leader who can balance reliability, scalability, and employee experience while partnering closely with Security, Engineering, and People.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, lead, and scale Form Health’s IT function, establishing clear governance, service levels, and standardized ways of working as the company grows.
  • Own corporate IT infrastructure including identity management, device lifecycle management, SaaS administration, and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.).
  • Partner closely with Security leadership to ensure strong controls, compliance readiness (e.g., SOC 2), and secure-by-design practices across employee technology systems.
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding technology processes to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient employee experiences.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and playbooks that reduce risk while enabling productivity in a remote-first environment.
  • Establish clear incident response, ticketing workflows, and SLAs for IT support; continuously improve response times and user satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor the IT team, building capabilities in IT operations, endpoint management, and enterprise tooling.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement enterprise tools that improve operational efficiency, compliance, and collaboration.
  • Partner with People, Security, and Finance on vendor management, budget planning, and technology spend governance.

About You:

  • 8+ years leading IT, Workplace Technology, or Enterprise Systems in a scaling, remote-first organization
  • Deep expertise in identity management, endpoint security, and SaaS administration
  • Experience supporting compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar frameworks)
  • Strong operational mindset with a track record of building repeatable systems, processes, and documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to balance security, usability, and speed in a high-growth environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical concepts into practical business impact
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Security, Engineering, and People teams

You’ll Be Successful in this Role if…

  • You are a builder who enjoys creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist
  • You think in systems, not tickets, and proactively identify risks before they become issues
  • You care deeply about employee experience and believe great IT is invisible when it works well
  • You can operate strategically while also rolling
