Shift:

Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm

12 Hour Rotating Shift – 7:00am – 7:00pm or 7:00pm – 7:00am

 

Position Scope:

This is a multi-craft mechanical journeyman-level position responsible to complete scheduled and routine maintenance work along with performing many other duties both as part of a team and independently. Duties include, but are not restricted to millwright, pipefitter, welding, and preventative/predictive maintenance

Position Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or have a GED equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have three (3) years verifiable field experience as a journeyman
• Knowledge and experience in millwright, pipefitting, machinist, and welding.
• Willing and capable of working all shifts

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a maintenance discipline on top of (3) years verifiable field experience as a journeyman
• Relevant work experience in an industrial environment
• Strong math/physics understanding

 

Position Responsibilities:

• Obtain and complete daily work orders
• Dismantle machines as needed
• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
• Fit, assemble and install equipment
• Install machine and equipment according to lay-out plan, blue prints and other drawings
• Utilize hoist, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools
• Operate cranes, tow motors and fork lifts
• Align machines and equipment using hoist, jacks, hand tools, dial indicators
• Install machinery; new and existing equipment; planning sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and cutting pipe; threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine
