This leadership position offers a rare and exciting opportunity to lead and shape one of the most innovative, collaborative and comprehensive congenital heart programs in the country—caring for patients from fetal diagnosis through adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Guerin Family Congenital Heart Division, which integrates both pediatric and adult congenital heart care, ensuring clinical excellence, growth, and innovation across the continuum of care.
  • Supervise the Fetal, Pediatric, and Adult Congenital Cardiology sections within the Division, advancing the academic mission across clinical care, research, and education within each section.
  • Oversee a multidisciplinary team including experts in fetal cardiology, congenital interventional catheterization and electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, and congenital cardiac imaging.
  • Drive programmatic expansion and enhance collaboration across pediatric and adult services within the Smidt Heart Institute and Guerin Children’s.
  • Support and grow robust research initiatives and foster faculty development and mentorship for trainees and junior faculty.
