About the role

The Sr. Manager Corporate Safety and Security reports to the Sr. Director Corporate Safety and Security. This role will be responsible for providing physical safety and security leadership for a corporate center.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the safety and security program for a corporate center campus.
  • Provide subject matter guidance on security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Staffing, scheduling and budgetary management and oversight focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Conducts investigations by gathering and analyzing evidence with the ability to work under pressure. 
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
  • High quality customer service orientation with both internal and external clients
  • Focuses on continuous improvement and develops and implements programs to promote efficiency, mitigate risk and support successful achievement of all security initiatives.
  • Ability to problem solve immediately when a safety or security incident occurs.
  • Support Corporate Security Policy and Standards program, including giving input on documentation and providing feedback during annual and quarterly business reviews.
  • Ability to provide after-action analysis and put solutions into action quickly.
  • Provide guidance to associates on security policy and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5 years experience with enterprise-wide security and safety systems, specifically Lenel OnGuard, Verint, AlertMedia, International SOS and Axis Command Station 

Preferred:

  • 7-10 years experience with enterprise-wide security and safety systems, specifically Lenel OnGuard, Verint, AlertMedia, International SOS and Axis Command Station 
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with emergency response and critical incident management  
  • Experience with radio communication systems 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Individual should be diplomatic and professional but firm on any safety and security requirements/policies 
  • Maintain professionalism and customer service focus at all times 
  • Comfort working under NDA and with highly confidential projects 
  • Analytical skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word 
  • CCTV technology 
  • Access control system experience  
  • Visitor management systems 
  • Attention to detail and ability to notice and resolve issues in real time 
  • Continuous improvement mindset  
  • Public speaking and effective communication 
  • Crisis management experience
