Verdantas is seeking a talented Staff I Engineer to join our team in the Fort Worth, TX office. 

Responsibilities:

• Organization and performance of field investigations
• Logging of geotechnical borings and test pits, including soil and rock classification
• Preparation of geotechnical reports
• Work with design teams to incorporate geotechnical aspects into site designs
• Operate and maintain company vehicles
• Travel to work sites using a company vehicle. This position requires travel 90% of the time, including extended stays

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field
  • EIT is preferred
• 0-2 years of experience with geotechnical laboratory testing and site grading
  • Experience with gINT, Lpile, SlopeW and AutoCAD is preferred
• Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without an accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances
• Must have a valid driver's license
