Position Purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst will perform complex financial analysis and modeling, and work with department leaders to develop forecasts and drive business growth.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data related to budgets, cash flow and expenditure. 
• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Develop financial models and forecasts.
• Prepare financial reports and track KPIs.
• Review and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Communicate cost and expense variances to leadership and prepare and deliver proposals and recommendations to CFO.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required

Reporting Relationship

This role will report directly to the Information Management and Reporting Manager.  While this role does not have direct reports, the ability to work with all internal team members is a critical success factor.
