Business Audit Internship - Summer 2025 (Schaumburg)

Zurich is currently looking for a Business Audit Intern to work out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois for the summer of 2025.

 

This intern will work under immediate supervision and perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. Generally, this position is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor. 

 

This position will be responsible for:

• Group Audit Innovation related projects helping to further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal audit function

 

Other development opportunities:

• Understand best practices in Internal Audit in a large globally operating Internal Audit practice
• Further develop project management skills
• May have some opportunities to work on data science/data analytics projects using large data sets
• Coordinate the audit team’s internal social media activities

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, data analytics, statistics, or related field
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program and will be enrolled in the fall of 2025
• Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely   

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum cumulative current grade point average of 3.0 (current could mean last semester GPA)
• Strong interest in the insurance industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong Data Analytics or Data Science related skill sets
• Problem solving skills in customer focused environment 
• Intermediate Microsoft Office
• Experience in a leadership role 
• Self-motivated ad able to work independently
