We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to ​join our team in Helsinki. This is an opportunity for you to contribute with your expertise in many different legal fields, giving high quality legal support to the business. It is also an opportunity for you to be part of an exciting journey, exploring and implementing the use of legal design/design thinking and legal tech to increase the level of support we provide.

About this opportunity

 

You will join Group Legal and the Personal Banking Legal FI team. PeB Legal FI supports Personal Banking in all legal aspects related to the customer journey, e.g. in the establishing and follow-up of customer relationships, complaints and disputes, product and service development and regulatory change. We draft general terms and conditions as well as other agreements including partnership and distribution agreements.

 

What you will be doing:

• Support business and group functions with legal advice within various fields of law
• Drive and support projects within PeB Legal and Group Legal

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have/are:  

• Business and customer minded
• Extensive experience of product development
• Have a legal Master's degree
• Experience within Legal Tech and Legal Design is advantageous
• Relevant experience from a similar position
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant legal and regulatory environment
• Finnish and English skills, in spoken and written (professional level)
