Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of field tasks, including the collection of groundwater, soil, and surface water samples and overseeing the monitoring of well installations
• Collect and interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations, field measurements, and other methods
• Assist in preparing technical reports to document project findings, conclusions, and recommendations
• Prepare and review field notes, drawings, contracts, and specifications in accordance with company standard
• Contractor liaison and oversight for investigation and remedial program
• Assist in preparing regulatory submittals, such as permit applications and plans
• Apply basic knowledge of federal and state regulations and regulatory programs
• Perform operation and maintenance of remediation systems
• Assist with occasional on-call emergency projects
• Assist in evaluating alternative solutions to science-related problems
• Stewardship of Health & Safety
• Solve problems creatively and effectively and make informed decisions 
• Communicate effectively and proactively with managers, peers, and clients
• Be able to learn quickly and take on progressively more challenging assignments

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or additional course work preferred
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in environmental remediation
• Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment 
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances
•  Previous consulting experience  
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle for independent transportation to work sites
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening post-offer acceptance
