QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education:  Minimum High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.

  3. Experience: Experience working with children, adolescents and their families.
  4. Other: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency’s insurance company.  Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in agency and/or own vehicle.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor for Medina Home-Based, the Therapeutic Behavioral Service (TBS) Worker provides Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients, their families, and/or family members as needed. They will work with clients in community, school, and home settings to provide support – including education, consultation, linkage, and skill building – for the client, parents and/or caregivers, case coordination, and symptom management and monitoring.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Provide therapeutic behavioral services and documentation thereof, including but not limited to:
    • treatment planning;
    • support, including education and consultation for families regarding the client’s mental illness;
    • case management;
    • symptom monitoring and self-management of symptoms;
    • assistance in increasing social support skills and networks;
    • referral and linkage to other healthcare, behavioral health care, and non-health care services;
    • access to resources in the community;
    • skills building;
    • client transportation; and
    • report all incidents and documents the same day to Clinical Supervisor.
