Position Overview: Join the team at Rainbow Restoration, a leading provider of disaster restoration services, dedicated to helping homes and businesses recover after fire, water, and storm damage. As a Warehouse and Delivery Technician, you will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading contents from affected properties. Working closely with other restoration professionals, you’ll ensure that all items are handled with care and delivered to our secure storage facilities. This role is essential in safeguarding clients' belongings during the restoration process, requiring strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and transport household and business contents for storage during property restoration projects.
• Operate company vehicles to deliver items to and from client properties and storage facilities.
• Maintain accurate inventories of transported contents, ensuring all items are properly tracked and accounted for.
• Organize and store contents in warehouse facilities following safety and storage protocols.
• Collaborate with the restoration team to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with property owners and colleagues.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in safe, working order for transporting contents.

Qualifications:

• Experience in moving, logistics, or warehouse environments preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a physically demanding role.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 100 lbs) frequently.
